Also important to remember that the process of properly turning that manuscript into a book involves an immense amount of sometimes invisible labor which takes TIME. If your book is in production for many months, it’s because they’re doing it right (not cutting corners).

Wow, that’s a lot of accolades. Congrats to these Utah State authors for stealing the show (if we say so ourselves) at the #4C26 2026 Awards Ceremony!

These are precarious times for nonfiction publishers. Getting the word out is harder than ever now. I highly recommend that people sign up to receive newsletters and other information directly from the publishers who put out stuff you like. You’ll also hear about bonus discounts and other deals.
