When we sit down and admit the moments we’re not trying our best or when we make mistakes, infinite possibilities for growth can occur. Building a better world starts with building an individual healthier mind and repairing harm in our immediate universes.
It’s so important to understand that settler colonialism is an ongoing process and center violence against the land when understanding collective liberation. The land is inherently connected to the people.

If you won’t step in to protect a child you will not step in to protect anyone. The state has made folks docile to the abuse & stealing of racialized kids. Societal misopedia has desensitized us. Don’t let them kidnap kids in front of you without physical intervention at minimum!

They cannot decenter their own whiteness from these narratives. Discussing these racial discrepancies isn’t “divisive.” It’s how collaboration and TRUST is built.
I always think it should be clear that racialized people are still the most vulnerable and still actively targeted and usually no one cares. You don’t see the union, I mean liberal zionists, I mean democrats, talking about our deaths. (3)
These white people aren’t being targeted because they’re white or poor. They’re not being targeted at all. They were executed in cold blood for dissent against the 2026 re-whitening project and challenging the fragile masculinity of white mercenaries with guns. They’re seen as “race traitors.” (2)
White supremacists will be outraged globally about white murder by the state because amerikkka is breaking an unspoken rule that state sanctioned violence is only for racialized peoples. They maintain whiteness through the lies that freedom & safety is for *all* white people not just the rich. (1)
It’s how we get state collaborators switching “sides” bc it’s still the same side. It’s a desire for white supremacist promises of “freedom” to be maintained on the suffering of racialized ppls. If these kidnappings were quiet, not an ostentatious occupation, most ppl wouldn’t care. (3)
People may not fully understand why this is important but it’s part of anti racist work. It’s part of honoring the history of these lands. Of the racialized peoples those defenders wanted to protect. Uplift the cause. Collective liberation can’t and won’t be achieved by centering whiteness. (2)
We must decenter whiteness from these conversations on resistance and focus on the narrative of dissent from community protectors for their racialized and vulnerable neighbors. Alex and Renee were murdered for challenging white supremacy and fragile white men doing fascist state work. (1)

in order to uplift people whose deaths aren't making national/ international news the same way.
This is to honor what Renee fought for & highlight that they, too, were Good.
Community members, intervened and pushed ICE goons back to their vehicles, forcing them to retreat after goons attempted to detain someone.

These systems that allow ICE to kill and terrorize communities come from settler colonial law. The same law that stole Indigenous land, and justified other violence, like stealing Indigenous children and putting them into Indian boarding/residential "schools" under the Doctrine of Discovery.
The most stable solution for a better world is creating a society shaped around childhood development — every timeline, every standard, every societal practice, ideology, and expectation, every single space.
A Red Lake Ojibwe descendant was snatched by ICE in Minneapolis, and a Plains Cree woman was questioned.
This is in addition to the four Oglala Lakota men who reportedly were grabbed by ICE.

My bear will be two years old next month and she recently started identifying other people (and non people) based off their perceived kinship roles and I think that’s the sweetest. A reminder of life and humanity.
You are entitled to not be a primary caregiver but you are not entitled to a ‘childfree life’ or world.
— What does this mean? Children are family and community members and you have a responsibility to interact with them as safe adults regularly at minimum. We need to do better for children.
Conflict is always at the expense of Native peoples, the land holds the scars of ecological violence and our children inherent the collective damages. Conflict and struggle could and should look different. Imperial terrorism shouldn’t exist. Colonizers will never understand this.
For me, the root of everything is how colonialism has hijacked our biological functioning. My agenda is healing our nervous systems and centering working in our communities to meet the needs of healthy childhood development. A safe world for children is a safe world for us all.
I generally only see ‘children are an oppressed class’ or ‘children are vulnerable’ which are very true and important to say. Hopefully systemic/societal misopedia can be more clearly analyzed and addressed.
It means being a safe adult & community member. It’s standing up to siblings for hitting/yelling at *your* kids — bc they’re yours too, you gotta comprehend that & own it. It’s burning down pedophiles where they stand, not metaphorically. There’s many, many things to understand.
Protecting children means understanding their development & their daily conditions that make them vulnerable. It means understanding laws, policies, & practices that target them. It means unlearning societal pedophilia and misopedia. It means masking & advocating for clean air.
Most folks who say “protect kids” don’t actually know what that means/looks like, nor do they work to unlearn their internalized societal misopedia. With love, it’s time to get srs & learn. Every targeted & vulnrenable identity on this earth is carried by children in tandem with being children.
Everyday it gets harder to envision the world my children will be growing up in and how I can protect them from it while making sure they’re aware of and able to navigate its realities as whole, healthy, safe people... I want so much better for all children in this world.
