Glad to read that the Institute of Museum and Library Services has reinstated all federal grants, following a permanent injunction ordered by a US District Court judge. The attorneys general of 22 states are seeking to stop the dismantling of federal agencies.

The Library of Congress has named Arthur Sze the new US Poet Laureate. Among other accolades, Sze won a National Book Award for “Sight Lines.” A resident of Santa Fe, he is the first Asian American to serve in the post and succeeds Ada Limón, who served for three years.
So sorry to hear that Robert Redford has passed away. I remember a wonderful phone interview I had with him while I was at CBS News, Radio. Not everyone was as gracious during those interviews.
