Sunset over Dokes Field to the north of Bodiam Castle. The sky is cloudy with hues of yellow, orange and pink over the trees on the horizon. There is a large tree in the left of the field and a small tent to the right. These roughly mark the alignment of the Roman routeway which runs through the field.
We’re excited to announce our 2nd season at #BodiamCastle with @archsoutheast.bsky.social & @uclarchaeology.bsky.social!
A huge thank you to @theromansoc.bsky.social, Society for Medieval Archaeology, MSRG, CBA South-East & Tenterden NTA for their support.
