That's great

Ah, that's lousy for you. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Certainly
@buddyholidai.bsky.social You were the first person to spring to mind when I rediscovered this....

He looks stoned
Happy Christmas, Alan.
If it was as cold as last week the gargle in the garden would be a runner

I saw him a few times with Sharon Shannon's big band. Absolutely love "Seize The Day". It'd be a 'Desert Island' album for me.
My first time seeing Damo play in UCD in March 2001. He was opening for Shane MacGowan and the Popes a student event. I've seen Damo a few times since but not for years. He never fails to deliver.

That's a fascinating read
I see a pale imitation......
I really enjoyed reading that. Very well written.
Probably my favourite
On this day in 1960, the first episode of Coronation Street was broadcast live from the Granada Studios at 7.00 pm.
Hard to know. I have almost quit trying to understand some officiating decisions.

Nice job. I love the idea of putting all nostalgic decorations on.
Why with MLS, Heaven, and KT on the bench did we have to start with Partey at RB? Was it to try and protect Kiwior pairing him with the experience of Timber?
I wonder if the Caicedo and Kulusevski incidents hadn't been on the "show piece" "Super Sunday" game would they have seen red cards?
I'm with you on the "big risk". Need a forward who compliments our system not one that requires a significant rejig to accommodate them.
Timber at RB, KT at LB. It's a risk because KT lacks game time but he's quicker than Kiwior or Partey.
I agree. We look so pedestrian minus the overlaps.
You could be right
I think the Unplugged version has me conditioned to prefer the song with accordion.
As much as I like Tomi, I think he needs to go. He can't stay fit and available. I think Zinchenko is falling into that unreliable category too.
I'd heard that Vaselines track before Nirvana started doing it but Nirvana's 'MTV Unplugged' performance is my favourite version. I think this is pretty good too....
