Analyzing where Blackhawks stand, where they're headed after quiet start to free agency The Hawks made only two small moves Tuesday, leaving their 2025-26 roster ready for a full-fledged youth movement.

The 2025-26 Blackhawks will be run by kids.

That has been clear for months, but it's now basically set in stone.

BREAKING: A federal judge reversed National Institutes of Health's terminations of hundreds of critical research grants that were canceled because of their alleged connection to disfavored topics, including diversity, equity, inclusion, and gender identity.

This is a major win for public health.

Consider the absurdity of telling someone who isn’t online that Ali Hazelwood, bestselling author, nuked her entire Instagram because people were digitally abusing her over a joke comment she made on a panel about Peeta, a 2008 character.

And because Instagram’s UX sucks, don’t forget that part.

The Institute for Museum and Library Services Was Just Gutted DOGE fired all IMLS employees and closed down their emails. It is assumed all funding for 2025 coming from the federal agency will not be happening.

DOGE has just completely gutted the IMLS, firing all staff, closing down their email addresses, and leaving any funding for 2025 in question.

And one that wouldn’t be possible without Plumbers Local 130 as we dye the Chicago River green. SlΓ‘inte!

Respectfully, the Blackhawks should have started ALL of this a lot sooner. It's been fun watching the younger guys boost their game.

That’s such a bummer! I took a break from this series because I wasn’t feeling one of the earlier pairings, so maybe I’ll wait and see where it goes.

It’s pretty wild that being anti-dictator is now a party line issue. Seems like the Democrats should maybe use that one?

Recently during an exchange between school librarians, someone suggested we just accept everything that’s happening in education and library spaces based on the party in power. I was reminded of this quote and that we should NEVER compromise our personal beliefs based on the outcome of an election.

It took seeing adult bullies to understand that my childhood bullies didn’t even really want to hurt me, they just wanted to feel powerful and how I felt about it wasn’t even in the equation.

I can’t imagine someone not outgrowing that, but apparently it happens quite a lot!

The right’s β€œwaste and fraud” frame is a replay of the same participatory propaganda games they played w/ β€œvoter fraud” in 2020, β€œcensorship” in 2022, and any number of anti-immigration frames in 2024. Set the frame, inspire the generation of β€œevidence” to fit it, amplify that evidence, and repeat.
