Honestly I haven't seen "Bride of Chaotica!" in a while and didn't even remember what Tuvok was up to so this went way over my head at first
I joked but then two episodes later the rule he broke was "intentionally leaking a witness name to a mobster and getting the witness killed" and the show was still portraying him as a lovable bad boy. Overcorrection.
I will probably buy one but if you launch a zip version I pinky swear that I will buy two.
Watching a 90s German detective show where one of the cops is a bad boy who doesn't play by the RULES and so far 45 minutes in all he's done is try to rely on the daily briefing summary binder instead of staying to listen to the entire briefing.
Cannot some of this unprecedented, unconstitutional power be diverted to abolish Daylight Saving Time, something the majority of Americans actually want? At least give us that. Can someone catch him in an elevator when he's in a kingly mood and mention it.

There's an emphasis on lowering preparation time for DMs, but there's a difference between the prep that's a necessary chore and the additional time you spend working with your game and your world because you enjoy it. The latter is just a more technical form of solo play.
A picture of PEW poll on global attitude survey, saying the % who rate the morality and ethics of people in their country as good vs bad, where the US has the worst rankings and Canada the best
Americans: we live in a fallen stateβembroiled by sin, cheating, lying, and evil. You cannot trust anyone, not even those who claim to know you best
Canadians: I love my neighbors and my friends!
When I was seriously considering a tattoo of Eugene Schieffelin releasing starlings in Central Park, supposedly from an urge to introduce all the birds in Shakespeare to America, I eventually found his firsthand report. Nah. The Shakespeare story was an invention of some article decades later.

My Roman Empire lately is that it's clear we moved on from Harry G. Frankfurt's argument in "On B******t" too soon. The concept of bs (and its distinction from lying) is even more relevant today! This should be rhetorical bedrock for talking about deception, like "gaslighting" or "white lie"!
sure, getting stuff done is great but have you ever embarked on three separate side quests instead
Whatever you think about its merit, it's interesting that Andy Warhol's art in movies and tv shows is only appreciated by the effete heel characters. I can't think of another famous artist so consistently associated with fictional baddies.
Ah yes I've heard of this "end of history" (toothed spherical creatures eating the past)

I don't watch Doctor Who anymore so I have to get my big BBC "has this gone downhill or was the writing always this sloppy" feelings out watching B-tier spinoff shows like Sister Boniface Mysteries and Beyond Paradise. I can't rank all the Doctors but I can rank the detectives on Death in Paradise.
Yep, DM me and we can DM or email from there
I have been DMing D&D for about 8 years and run 2 or 3 games a week, 90% virtually
It's 2026 and Hollywood is all-in on CGI deer that do not look very realistic!
today I saw a dad at costco deploy a high-risk βfine, Iβll buy you this basketball hoop if you can make this shotβ maneuver to his young son only for the boy to swish from like twenty feet away. net barely moved
This style of light doesn't really appear in animation anymore. You know it when you see it -- it's bright, hot and almost dangerous.
Our new issue explores the tricks behind it, and how one artist has revived the look for the digital age: animationobsessive.substack.com/p/dangerous-...
Carrying little cards to the bar to hand out because I'm sick of the same questions every time like "Yes, I am a government experiment. Yes these are my real eyes. No it does not hurt. Yes I can see into the side-layer."
I keep seeing folks referring to scams like βwanna buy some magic beansβ which is weird because in Jack and the Beanstalk the magic beans were very much real. Like, I get what you were going for but that dude was in no way trying to scam Jack. He had real ass magic beans and just wanted a cow.
"The moon economy is about to boom. In fact, I am experiencing some growth right now"
I saw Josie and the Pussycats in the theater and only one other person laughed at the jokes - later I found out the other person was my best friend
I saw The East premiere (some old man was MAD that we were warned not take photos) and I still ask "from The East?" whenever Brit Marling is mentioned
Of course I know him. We were both part of the vast interconnected web of life together.
