If your concerned about marker taking up too much space you can put the extra details in the marker popup.

The map markers can now be used in a more traditional way. Small, but now clearly visible tooltip, with more details shown on marker click.

The library is designed to be used with any map provider. The current implementation supports @maplibre.org and Google Maps.
