It's my birthdayyy today so I'm going to ask for a cheeky lil artshare if you like my work since I'm still pretty new to the bluesky art community c:
Hii I'm Marby, I'm from the UK and living in the US. I like world building and fantasy art, I'm also working on a personal game project for fun π€
A thief character art commission, her name is Cyrine! #dnd
Thanks! :)
Bilbo looking at his phone top on bottom is ChatGPT After all, why not? Why shouldn't I keep it? You're absolutely right β you found it, it's been with you a long while, and it's only natural to feel fond of something that's served you so well, especially when someone like Gandalf suddenly seems to want it for himself.
a comic about a ghost and a cat who make friends and then the cat dies and becomes a ghost and finally gets to be held

Art by Morgane Magloire, created during Semester 3. Follow Morgane: https://bsky.app/profile/morganemgl.bsky.social The art depicts a cool femme character with a spear, crouching on a tree in the jungle. A huge striped cat is climbing down beside her. A companion. There are colours, but I don't know what they are because of my eyes.
Art by Alexandria Neonakis, created during Semester 4. Follow Alex: https://bsky.app/profile/beavs.bsky.social The artwork depicts a cool cowgirl riding a rattlesnake dragon. They are flying over a heard of cows, ready to... wrangle them? Rope them? Whatever cowfolk do.
Art by looceyloo, created during Semester 2. Follow Lucy here: https://bsky.app/profile/looceyloo.bsky.social The art depicts a woman in western clothing (hat, poncho, shirt and gloves etc), kneeling beside her massive jackalope (?) friend. The creature has various packs and a saddle strapped to it. Both are looking off-canvas. Big clouds and mountains in the background. It's gorgeous, god this one is so gorgeous.
Art by Jeleynai, created during Semester 5. Follow Jeleynai here: https://bsky.app/profile/jeleynai.bsky.social The art depicts a femme character crouching (always gotta be crouching, holding a spear and attempting to hold back 2 massive dog things. They are cute as hell. The one on the left is poking it's head out of the shadow into the bright light.
β¨My art mentorships continue this year!β¨
I had the great pleasure of working with 90 students last year, helping them level up their illustration work. If you want to join, I have a few spaces open for the February class.

When 97% is 'no clear consensus', and 52% is 'the will of the people', it's time to face facts that Governments do what Governments want to do regardless of what their people actually want.

In the original youβre aware of the horror of falling, but the body positions of the workers are solid on the beam. Here, most of them should be falling off, yet they donβt, because they live in an unreal, consequence-free space.
I was planning on announcing the first 2026 art mentorship in a couple of weeks, but vet & cremation bills hit pretty hard so I'm going to open signups now.
Semester 9 begins in February - if you'd like to sign up or learn more, here's the website:

my disgust is immeasurable.
We really need to double down on outwardly stating our work does not contain AI.
We're seeing it in movie credits and books, we have to start putting it on things we make and pressuring others to label their work as human made, and normalize that as much as we can, I think.
stuff like this maybe

was super fun
A Christmss tree covered in lights and ornaments.
Christmas tree is up, The Grinch is playing and I might just stay here till 2026
A sorceress astounded by her freshly sculpted homunculus. A single shaft of light illuminates her creation. Bounce lighting reflects upon the sorceress. The homunculus has a flaccid butt. The maker's hands are covered in fresh clay. They are the only body parts of the sorceress that are directly lit. Faint, residual purple smoke wisps from her fingertips: the homunculus stands in an awkward pose, that of a creature freshly adjusting to its body. The homunculus has thin limbs and a hefty torso, though it is faced against the viewer. The sorceress's workshop is littered in sculpting tools, brushes, an open tome of transmutation, ceramic bowls and a pitcher of dirty clay water in which lie a few of these tools. Clay shavings are scattered about the floor. A red, runic circle surrounds the humonculus. In the dark background it is possible to catch a few failed prototypes on a shelf.

This painting has been floating around in my head for months now, and I only found the right time to bring it to fruition yesterday!

Was asked to draw a Fantasy style map by Causa Creations recently and got reminded how fun these are to make!
Thought I'd be nice to come back to my roots, so, just a reminder to potential clients that maps are in my wheelhouse too!

This might be the most realistic portrayal of being an artist working for indecisive directors/leads I've ever seen on tv. Everyone needs to be watching The Chair Company.
A naive floral illustration with a severed hand that was already all fucked up because it was made by a slopper. With the text βI donβt use ai Iβm not a fucking loserβ
Sloppers fuck off. If you canβt do it yourself maybe learn to be happy as the audience

A Beijing artist made this series -- and turned stick fights into a phenomenon. We're exploring why and how he did it:

Here's some spooky art that I did of the mcdm summoner class. Tis the season for necromancers and spooky scary skeletons.

Finally got around to playing Triangle Agency last night and I'm so ready for a campaign. @jemalexander.bsky.social did an incredible job herding a bunch of the most chaotic characters through a plot to take down an anomalous ice cream van. Perfection
I'd never played it before and I'm obsessed. Can't get over the storytelling and how nuanced it is while never shying away from a strong point of view. Most fun I've had on my Switch 2 since launch. The urge to make fanart is growing...
