Turns out people was broke and was getting loans for things they couldn’t afford and when the bill came due a lot of people lapse and it caused some banks to fail. Creating a crash in the market and driving us into the “great recession”.

The only difference was being 18. I had no idea what was going on. I had a whole bunch of hope because we had a black president and i wqs living in the “Greatest city in the country”.
