Yeah it's like I spent $7 on a bad meal. Yeah I was pissed but I'll live, lmao.
I recommend Tokyo Xtreme Racer for tight responsive controls and minimalist gameplay loop. Its just menus and text dialogue walls you can skip easily. The story is a non issue.
This game feels dated as hell. Back when they thought realistic character models and story was an actual selling point to entice buyers. Nowadays people just want games to be focused on what really matters: fun gameplay loop. NFS Heat was the last gasp of a dying goat.
There's no grace to these cars. Their mistake was showing me the Polestar 1 in the beginning (for some ungodly reason) their flagship car and it STILL handling like a giant Cadillac DeVille. I can only imagine the shit they did to the Ferraris and Lambos.
Oh and a personal preference i fucking hate the "WERE A CREW!!!" storyline, like i want them all driving off a pier collectively into the fakeass Miami Beach poop water.
Bought NFS Heat for $7 because I love car customization. What i got was the worst driving controls I've ever experienced in a modern racing game. Top it off with annoying as fuck com chatter and an obnoxious presentation and Im glad I didn't pay full price for this piece of shit.
They set season 2 on the July 4th weekend. Anthrocon weekend. Thankfully only one furry needed ER treatment for heat exhaustion and they were a great representation and yeah AN EMMY WINNING SHOW THINKS FURRIES ARE NEAT AND HARMLESS.
