The plot itself is pretty chill, just you and some Pokemon rebuilding cities

But the backstory of the game is pretty fucked up for a Pokémon game

I think team rocket (especially because team rainbow rocket) has a lot of potential. I’m glad pokopia is Somewhat taking advantage of that, although I’ve yet to see the full extent of TR in this game

But yea I actually really loved that Sabrina and Surge were rockets in the manga

They manipulate the culture somewhat, they attempt to persuade children to join, they have ties to multiple large powerful entities in Kanto, and in other continuities they are even members of the official Pokemon league. It’s quite strange

This is true. They were called “Rocket-Dan” in Japanese so it’s just the English word Rocket.

Team Rocket is funny because despite being the most vague and pathetic evil team looking at their origin game, they kind of do a lot? Like. Experiments, murder, genetic mutation,
