The Loper case overturning the Chevron deference is an alarming trend that is taking science away from scientists and allowing pseudoscience to flourish under the watch of a activist Supreme Court. Should we now call it public “health?”

Updates from AHLA: some shake-ups in the FDA with Dr. Prasad expected to step down at the end of April; HHS Secretary, with the backing of DOJ, claiming broad and “unreviewable” authority to set policy, particularly wrt vaccine mandates; USPSTF perhaps being allowed to atrophy.

Medically speaking, cognitive test = dementia test; cognitive test ≠ IQ test. Repeatedly being administered a cognitive test is NOT a good thing and passing a cognitive test is the NORM (that is, most everyone taking it should achieve at or close to 100% correct so it's not brag-worthy).
