Timothée Chalamet. When a supposed artist dismisses entire art forms, credibility slips. Ballet, opera, theatre, live stage is the foundation: discipline, voice, presence, stamina. You can’t edit your way through it. If you can’t value the performing arts then “artist” is too heavy a title for you.

One of my plays, Taga Saan Ka / Where You Are From, just had a dramaturgical consult. So validating to hear all elements of that this heart-wrenching WW2 Filipino tragedy is fully alive on the page. A few tweaks, some line edits, a workshop or two brings it closer to production-level script.
