Live now 👋🏻
Live as in, like, lurking in the comments and feverishly typing. Not live like you get to see my tired-as-hell face as I guzzle down yet more coffee and energy drinks
Going live in 10 with an AMA for @theverge.com subscribers on the MacBook Neo. Come on in. 🤓

I reviewed the MacBook Neo for @theverge.com. Apple's new $599 laptop with an iPhone chip redefines what an affordable laptop is and how good it can be.
I’m bad at thinking of this kind of stuff on the spot but it’s clear to me that I’m pretty basic. And old.
Pokopia has a whole 3D printer and it surprised me so much that I ended up reanalyzing how Pokémon treats technology in general. Gift link if you want to read :) www.theverge.com/games/890131...
Something i see people say is that they use ai for brainstorming or as a sounding board for ideas, but there's an issue
You aren't working with a partner if they can't disagree with you or tell you that your idea is shit. What you're doing is something else and for a different purpose
The fact that they’re trying to launder this shit as just “make your predictions” is so gross. Like it’s a fun carnival game or a Zoltar machine on the boardwalk, instead of gambling on people’s terrible misfortunes
Yet I’m still intrigued by this game (was just watching a little more of it in a stream). I can only imagine how cool a campaign, full PvE co-op (like Helldivers 2), or more traditional PvP take on it could be
And I’m not the type to have my mic on with randos. But even so, the meta seems to be kill on sight with any other runner you see. I think the dark and very suspenseful sci-fi setting reinforces that kill or be killed mentality.
Shame, because I love the art style and vibe. I guess I’ll just keep being intrigued by extraction shooters from afar
One night of Marathon and a quick peek into the subreddit and I’m guessing it’s best to just nope tf out now
Feels like this is gonna end up being quite the sweaty group of toxics
O.O
I’d run the 10 miles straight on an empty stomach and I think after that I’d have no problem with the tacos. My concern is getting sleepy and bloated like a dozen beers in.
It's got enough room for me & the whole squad ⚔️
Seriously, quite the drip
I went hands-on with Asus' $3,700 ROG Flow Z13-KJP gaming tablet. It's a limited edition collab with Kojima Productions, designed by artist Yoji Shinkawa.
I felt compelled to hike it up a mountain in a blizzard, and took tons of pics for @theverge.com.

Asus ROG Flow Z13-KJP laptop sitting on snowy outcropping of rocks next to a briefcase and a headset, sitting on a desk mat.
From the article: "The tablet’s anodized “decennium gold” chassis has a smoother and nicer feel than the regular ROG Flow, and there’s a carbon fiber panel on the top left of the tablet’s rear, just because. And next to that is a decorative design combining gold lines and the negative space of a fan vent to look a bit like a mountain peak — the kind of hostile terrain common in Death Stranding."
The mouse features a mix of black and white with gold accents, plus Kojima Productions iconography like the company’s Ludens logo illuminated in RGB light. It's covered in snow

This is the Asus ROG Flow Z13-KJP, a collaboration between Asus and Kojima Productions. @superantonio64.bsky.social says it's the "coolest computer I've ever touched." So of course, he hiked up a snowy mountain for some photos.

Glad I happened to have my headphones on while scrolling past this. Quite the bop.
This morning I felt just a tiny bit of pride. It’s gone now. These asshole go out of their way to take away all that’s good and stamp it out
Need some lazy Sunday reading as we hunker down to get snowed in?
I reviewed two low-fi, #screenfree cameras in a head to head review: the Camp Snap Pro and Flashback One35 V2.
The vibes are not immaculate for one of them.

The USA men’s hockey team takes their gold medal team photo with the jersey of late NHL star Johnny Gaudreau and his two children.
I wish they played proper OT, at least for the knockouts or just the final. And the US lucked out sooooo big with that non-call for too many men on the ice. But damn, that was a roller coaster.
It’s nice to feel a small sense of pride, even for just a bit. And this moment was just beautiful.
Fuck it, we'll do it live!
(We're live now.)
