Thank goodness he’s earning decent money, it’ll get better as he gets older hopefully

Sadly no, he’s selling his car and putting the money towards his Dad’s audi which needs work, he can get insured as a second driver on that for under Β£200 a month none of it makes any sense to me

I’m afraid as my husband has Alzheimer’s and vascular dementia it prevents me from going far from home, added complication of Type 1 diabetes too πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ maybe one day. But in the meantime I can look at other people’s travels, experiences and photos like yours, which I love x

Early 14th century floor tile from St. Augustine’s Abbey in Canterbury. The tile was produced locally at Tyler Hill in the Forest of Blean - a major centre for tile production during the medieval period. The tiles are on display in the abbey museum. πŸ“Έ My own. #TilesOnTuesday

I’m disgusted, but at least someone had the guts to say why, been trying for ages but thought it was the car

Had to give up trying to help my grandson to get car insurance πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ a helpful chap said it wasn’t the car or the modification it’s his job! No one wants to insure him because he’s 17 and an AET in the Navy! That is just so harsh, he works and serves his country it’s just so wrong

22.12.2025 21:46 πŸ‘ 3 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 2 πŸ“Œ 0

Please can anyone help, my grandson is trying to get insurance for his car but keeps getting refused, some of the reasons are ridiculous. Yes he’s 17 and has a Seat ibeza but surely someone could give him a chance? Any suggestions would be great thank you

The wonderful sound of a couple of hundred Twite - known here in Shetland as 'Linties' - at Loch of Spiggie in one of the 40 'Bumblebird' wildlife-friendly crops grown by crofters and the Shetland Species on the Edge team in 2025. πŸ‘

Anyone any idea why a Carrion Crow would be collecting small smooth white pebbles and putting them under a paving slab? Most odd behaviour!

I love that, I only have one oil painting and that was my Mum’s which my Dad bought her when we moved. All my other originals are pen & ink or watercolour.

It happens quite a lot where I am, they seem to have private baptisms followed by church ones or they get children baptised again after an illness. I’ve seen whole families having second baptisms after illness seems very odd

Is it possible she was baptised twice?
