With all the anti-Israel hatred (which really should be directed towards Bibi and his right-wing government), I think many people don't realize that Israel does not speak for or represent every Jew on the planet.

I'm glad I didn't upset you; I always try to be respectful. People could instead say: reform/conservative, or orthodox synagogue.

Last week in Toronto, three synagogues were shot at. Tomorrow, there will be a huge Al-Quds downtown, and police are prepared, especially to protect the US Consulate.

One of those synagogues is close to where I live. Further down (east) that very same street, there was a home invasion in the middle of the night, where the homeowner was shot.

I agree with your comment, but...I have to say, *Jewish synagogue* is redundant. A synagogue is a Jewish house of worship. (sorry - I've seen this a few times today)
