Got this from this day in 2020
Was this a uk phenomenon or did people panic but toilet roll in all countries
it was raining on my test day and my instructor said, good news is you can take it easy on the test because its raining.. so i took it easy and almost failed for driving too slow lol
Book 19 of 2026
Moon Over Soho (rivers #2) - Ben Aaronovitch
2.5/5
Very disappointed with this one after the first book being so good. Unnecessary overdescribed sex throughout brought the rating down even further. I'm a prude, i may not continue

Not my usual schtick, I'm an elder emo, nu metal kinda guy.. but took my other half @connoruk.bsky.social to see kesha for his birthday. It was a nice time.
Ooo am i in your ends.
Never been here before. Only been up in Scotland twice and both times were edinburgh. Once for work, once to pick up a car.
Its deceptively long to get here lol
Thankfully we're 15mins away from Glasgow now.. i was very stressed yesterday when my train got cancelled and i couldn't even tell Connor! He's usually the organiser of the relationship, this gift was a big undertaking ๐
For @connoruk.bsky.social โฒs 30th (everyone wish him a happy birthday) I'm taking him to see his favourite artist Kesha in Glasgow (even though he has tickets closer to home next week).
2 days before we travel there's been a massive fire next to the train station and made our travel plans stressful

Dungeon Crawler Carl - Matt Dinniman
4.5/5
Needed a light hearted read in between cosmere books.. this was surprisingly deep underneath the mayhem, looking forward to the next book when i get to it

If you sold prints of this I'll defo pick one up.. looks amazing ๐
i get my annual bonus this month.. which after the UK government has taken a shit ton of it i will be left with ยฃ2900 so maybe i should get a switch 2.. theres only 2 games i am interested in and only 1 is out so far lol
Don't remember my passwords.. yet when this album comes on i know every single word, 25 years later
my hyperfixation has unfortunately been reading.. i don't make the rules.. so no games for me
is it a horror? i love lost but i can't do horrors, dunno if i should try it.. me and my partner are doing a lost watch through again, this will be my 5th.. i am old enough to have watched it new, the waits between seasons were excruciating
Challenge for all these people who do art that gets retweeted onto my timeline constantly.. could you do anime art and not make the main focus the gigantic boobs of the character? it's so irritating
The rich companies caught on that selling stuff for cheaper gets them less money.. can't be having that
Book 17 of 2026
The Sunlit Man - Brandon Sanderson
5/5
Another 5* from Sanderson, what a surprise from a Sanderson Stan.. i really liked the sci fi element getting mixed into the cosmere with this one, I'm sad i have a wait for more like this.

Decent spot whilst still having somewhere to deploy my ageing millennial pop up stool
In line to see Hot Mulligan in Leeds ๐
There's alot more people in the queue than i expected.. anytime i mention them, no one knows who they are lol

thats why theyre call east and west midlands
actually got a respectable 10% bonus this year.. but it pushes me into the next tax bracket so well done british government on their 40% share of my bonus i guess
dang.. we need more eye patch heroes
i am not american.. are either of these a good guy? and if so, is the good guy the one with the eye patch.. cos that would be ideal
but, they do get excited when a person do be little
There was a big freeze a couple weeks before we got there, where even the sea froze and the lakes froze solid.. and even though it was above freezing the whole time we were there, the lakes still had ice over them as you can see in the picture
Copenhagen was a very pretty city.. super expensive though with confusing taxes (like American taxes where its added on at the till but not everytime, so we really didn't know how much everything was going to be)
Back in England, and i didn't die in a fiery plane crash, which is nice.
I hate flying
