There's always tons of money to kill people, but never enough to help people. Societies struggle under the boots of greed and war.

Average new NZ mortgage breaking records in November 2025 - a record that will probably be broken again when the December data comes out this Thursday. Investors, in particular, are maxing out their lending. Note that this data is 'actuals' image 2 shows data adjusted for CPI. [1/2]
The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.

Trumpler's, Ice-stapo, murdering innocent people in the street. Spreading horrible lies about their characters. Gaslighting folks to ignore the evidence of their own eyes. And, providing immunity to the murderers. Yes, it's fascism. A fact now only the most deluded can ignore. Stand up. Fight back.
The Atlantic finally catching up with what some of us have been saying for *years*
What's pulled CPI up over last 25 years? Basically the cost of services and property. Now look at what's pulled CPI down (image 2). Thanks world! Now, what happens if world stops selling us ever cheaper stuff *and* prices rise to reflect infra catch-up cost (rates) and climate risk (insurance)?
The Ice-stapo has murdered innocent people in the street & on camera. Trumpler, has justified these murders & is gaslighting people in an effort to get them to ignore the evidence of their own eyes. He has spread horrible character assassinating lies to muddy the water. The US is at a tipping point

The government does not stockpile “ammunition” by paying down its own liabilities. It prepares for crises by ensuring that real resources will be available when needed. A nation with underemployed labor, unused industrial capacity, and fragile supply chains is not fiscally strong, regardless of its debt-to-GDP ratio. Conversely, a nation with substantial liabilities but with ample food security, energy security, and public provisioning capacity has far more room to act without stimulating inflation.
Great quote from an excellent piece... The myth of Govt needing to 'save for a very rainy/shaky day' really holds NZ back. We need the capacity to respond.
