Thank you πŸ€ͺ dreaming doesn't cost anything but daring moments πŸ˜‚ now Granta. Who cares... Let it collect more rejections.

Long time, Sage. How are you?

Good luck with the story. I too subbed to Agni. It was just a daring act on my part. πŸ˜‚ Still waiting for my rejection.

Writers, how did you decide your genre?

It took me several short stories to figure out, I was interested in writing thrillers.

I wrote a story that was thrilling with suspense elements and had fantastical angle too. That was the one… the guiding star to my preferred genre.

3 rejections in 36 hrs.

2 for a flash piece from magazines. 1 on my psychological thriller novel query.

Writing life is hard. Exposing your writing to the world is harder. Querying your book is a different ballgame.

Feeling vulnerable and low. But I'll bounce back.
Cheers πŸ₯‚

Dear writers,

Do not ignore the power of rest. Listen to your body and take a break. A day, three days, or a week.

Nothing repairs a tired mind like rest, sleep, time with a book or nature, or just a dose of your fave mode of entertainment.

Raise your hand if you're also one of those who bookmarks every potential post to read later & don't go back to them until you need to clean the junk from every hulking database of screenshots, webpages, saved posts, and read-it-later piles.

And no, we aren't even thinking about that towering TBR.πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Learning to say no, one energy-draining thing at a time is the one thing on my annual to-do list.

How far have you reached in this #selfcare routine?

1. I’m a pro! πŸ’ͺ🏼
2. I’m trying πŸ‘πŸΌ
3. What? We can say no too? πŸ€”

India's weather is perfect to go out and about. Sunny with a nip of coolness. Just the right time to sit outside and read a book.

But writing beckons!
