Would this look better with white shorts or red shorts?

199cm isnβt tall enough in the modern game for a ruckman. Strongly believe he was drafted as a Key Forward.
Superb start from Rosa. How some can attack this result as a βblunderβ is absolutely baffling.
Bringing this absolute banger out after the AFL draft is an absolute must in my household.
Is pick 36+38 enough to trade up and get Shanahan? I rate him.

North Melbourne proved with the last pick last night that the price to buy back into the first round was too far too high. I know the experts like this draft but they are still unknown commodities, high risk stuff.
Essendon still keen on trading up for one of these guys or did most offers get turned down last night? Obviously some connection to Shanahan there.
Cal Twomey has an impeccable record predicting the draft. πππ
Bid for Ashcroft goes low. Hopefully Kako follows the pattern. Rosa making plenty of moves so far has us in a good position to capitalise.
Excited to hear Tsatas is progressing. Has an extra burst of speed the others donβt.
Big 2025 ahead. Need him to go to another level and become an absolute star!
My early draft day tip is Essendon trade back into the first round of the draft tonight around pick 15.
Will be a wait and see game until Kako bid comes. But I think we will target another forward to join the young core of Caddy, Jones and Kako.
One or two could be very high picks. Whoβs to say next yearβs draft doesnβt turn into a super draft? My guess is they have someone in mind that they want to pair with either Kako or Caddy in mind.
Depends on the player at the pick. Always risky with future first. What type you think theyβre going after?
Hey everyone! Go Dons!
I think the most likely lineup is:
Gresham Caddy Perkins
Langford Wright Kako
I have high hopes for Martin. Donβt think itβs a coincidence heβs picked up good traits from all the roles heβs played too.
If 2025 is to be a year of growth for the bombers, I hope we get to see some of these position/role changes at some stage. At least for some period of time to see what this list has got.
Andrew McGrath -> Strict Lockdown Small Forward
Let the VC do what he does best. Defend. When he doesnβt have the responsibility of being a driver of the ball off HB he can be one of the games best small defenders, itβs also where his most valuable counter attacks start from.
Alwyn Davey Jnr. -> Back Pocket/ Half Back
Plays his best running back towards goal. Iβd like to see him how he goes with the game all in front of him. Was impressive as a wingman in juniors, get the ball in his hands and see what heβs got.
Archie Perkins -> Medium Forward
Mostly played midfield last year but I have always seen him as the Stringers natural successor. Dangerous around goals and a great set shot I would love to see him play majority of his time in the forward-line.
Nic Martin -> Midfield
Terrific skills on the outside make him a brilliant wingman, but his change of direction and game reading ability in the front half make him so dangerous. Propose Redman moves into Martinβs former back half role.
Essendon positional changes Iβd love to see get a crack in 2025. Short thread:
Much better over here!
My thought exactly. I used to tweet all the time to engage in footy chat but I reckon I only made 10-15 posts all season. Just got too many random assholes coming in and being a dick for no reason.
Fury v Wilder fights were pretty damn good.
Only had a good look at Jobe Shanahan but I loved what I saw at VFL level in 2024. Could he and Caddy be our next 10 year forward combo?
Havenβt seen it yet! Certainly on the list!
Future Days is one of my all time favourite songs! Enjoy!
