Did you know the Merril Collection holds a real Hugo Award?
Judith Merril began her own biography but didn’t finish it. Her granddaughter Emily Pohl-Weary completed Better to Have Loved: The Life of Judith Merril, which won the Hugo Award in 2003. She donated the Hugo to the Merril Collection! #sff

Spaced Out Library, Palmerston Branch, 1974. In the late 1960s, Judith Merril donated ~5,000 books to Rochdale College and an endowment grew into the Merril Collection of Science Fiction, Speculation, and Fantasy at the Lillian H. Smith Branch, now 80,000+ items strong.
