I built this tower and I do not remember wiring in this jack or even noting it's existence. I've stared at my tower for years thinking it would be useful to have a headphone jack. I wired it in when I built it and forgot about it. Obviously in front of my face.. Nice

2.25 an issue when I bought these as a teenager. Tossed/donated a lot of magazines going thru my magazine and book collection but I'll probably keep these. Probably $18 an issue now if they had a direct equivalent.

20 year old laptop. I vaguely remember buying more ram on eBay and installing raspberry pi desktop off their livecd. What impressed me the most is remembering my wifi password. I've had more pretty good luck with various Linux distros. I usually stick with Debian or it's off spring like Mint

Provided electrical isolation and was full of Triacs to control incandescent light strings. Usually hooked up to a computer's printer port or another circuit to do the actual patterns for the lights. I haven't used it in over 25 years was just memories and now junk.

My homemade Christmas tree light controller from possible 30 plus years ago. Lots of radio Shack parts in here. It was designed to hook up to a controller or computer. Time to take it apart and say goodbye.
