We went to Strasbourg and watched in a bar, it was the best we could do.
Problem is that for many people away games cannot happen on a Thursday night. Either they can't get that much time off work, or they really haven't the money to do that kind of travel on a regular basis. And that's without the problem of getting tickets.

We stayed the weekend after the Strasbourg game. Great place, and also the first weekend of their Xmas market season, so really lovely time was had.
