When Canadians start driving these across the border on vacations, Americans are in for a massive shock.
Looking at the cars on offer in China is enough to make you downright angry. $35k will buy you a freaking high-tech EV chariot-bordering-on-supercar.
And if you reflexively think, βmust be junk,β you are trapped in a far-outdated impression of China.
I don't the average person has a clue how bad the water situation is going to get in the next couple of decades.
Ugh. You guys always have some of the highest prices around. Ours went up again yesterday too. $4.35 is the norm.

It's surprising he's handing out black dress shoes to his flock and not Nike Decades.
Covering sessions daily at the Commission on the Status of Women this week, one question keeps coming up for me: How can responsible media better amplify the institutions trying to address global crises? Too often we are not meeting the moment β we are being entertained by it. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus & @DrTed...β’ 6h Global military expenditure just hit $2.7 trillion - in a single year. According to @UN estimates, ending world hunger by 2030 would require $93 billion annually. That means we spend almost 30 times more every year on killing each other than on making sure everyone eats.
This is Director of WHO. And thatβs exactly the point Iβm trying to make all day every day this week.
Why can't they all start a GoFundMe like the rest of us?!?
Punish them? The White House has taken the same concept to a whole new level.
After a series of fatal strikes involving civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan, Congress directed the Pentagon to reduce civilian casualties as part of a 2019 law. During the Biden administration, the Defense Department created the Civilian Harm Mitigation and Response initiative. The civilian mitigation teams β cut by 90% by Hegseth β work with military commanders on target planning, and making sure that targets are actually military sites. The teams help come up with "no strike" lists, including religious and cultural sites and schools
I knew that the Department of War shot a missile into a school & killed 175 civilians, mostly children.
This is learned today:
Secretary of War Hegseth had cut the teams assigned to prevent such tragedies by 90%.

I love the idea that *this* US government, which has been nabbing landscapers and five year olds knows where Iranian sleeper cells are but just hasnβt gotten around to doing anything about it yet.
I mentioned it last week. It seems like the inevitable, idiotic conclusion.
Lol, thanks, Susan!
NOCO makes good stuff. I have a few different things from them and gave my niece and nephew one for their cars too.
Even the Cyber Ninjas concluded it was not rigged, and they were paid to say it was.
Now this is one of the (few) correct uses of AI!
Yikes.
Someone had quite a collection! You know there must have been a lot more chickens in that hen house.
Heβs going to declare victory and leave.
This is why the US engaging in a regime change operation is almost always a bad idea, but particularly under this administration.
Taking his ball and going home now will create another insurgency in the Middle East.
Very nice, Wendy!
Very nice, Paula!

This is a 2-frame composite. Best as I can tell, two large, branching bolts struck the eastern antenna mast of the Hancock. #wxsky #ilwx
This is hilarious.
Also, completely enraging.
