#Painting: I finished it and he almost cried.

The biggest learning curve with this that I need to apply for next time is to make sure I use a darker base. Her fur was mostly white and it just didn't translate well when I got started lol. The highlights were lost

But because I wanted to jump right in, the sketch isn't accurate. I didn't even really erase the blue lines. I might end up having to add a little line work afterwards.

Tried to do a different expression and even then, it just didn't come out right.

This is mostly a test though just to experience

I just wanted to test its layering capabilities, especially considering I just had a moment where a different set just doesn't meet the quality fully. I only owned a small set of pastel holbein pencils, so getting the entire range means a lot to me as someone who collects the full range of stuff +

Starting with light layers before we add any darks. My OC is very fair hair and skin wise, but the clothes tend to get dark.
