Clawdbot/OpenClaw is a local agent that has hooks into a TON of desktop activities on a Mac, with your choice of cloud services behind it. I’ve just been playing with it and it is extremely compelling as an overall model for personal chat agents. Would be interested to hear your take on it.
Have you tried Clawdbot/Moltbot/OpenClaw yet? Similar risk profile, but so compelling in use. Seems to indicate to me a market for (secure) local agents that’s just starting to be explored.
That morning was, in many ways, my first experience with tragedy. I'd dealt with loss & grief. But this was bigger than that in ways that I didn't have words for. I can still remember the numbness and shock, how it felt in 12-year-old me.

This is the same cooperation problem that has faced libraries (and other hyper-locally funded community orgs) for the last 30 years - it's a hard-sell to convince a Board or local government to fund non-local groups. Politically, I mean. Makes all the sense in the world, and yet....
My kid finished her "final" college app last night! Applying for a BFA in Musical Theater. A few stats:
24 different schools
48 different applications (each has both academic AND artistic)
28 different versions of edited, final prescreen videos
89 different videos recorded in total
Insane process!

LIBRARIES WIN IN COURT. Federal court issues permanent injunction in Rhode Island V. Trump, stops the dismantling of the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
The court ruled that all actions taken by the Administration to dismantle IMLS are nullified. This injunction takes immediate nationwide effect: all grants, in every state and territory. The Administration is stopped from taking these actions again in the future. Show up for our libraries, American Library Association.

Was lucky enough to see it earlier this week...it is SPECTACULAR. My goodness Joshua Henry! And Cassie Levy! The whole thing left me and my family a blubbering mess.
