gen 6 worked well due to the theme, the variety in body shapes but overall chemistry… gen 8 as an ensemble… were just weird. wasn’t especially fond of any of them.

i think the only pokemon i hate more than inteleon is drizzile. 😖

tbh from a professor standpoint, it makes sense to pair fledgling trainers with a pokemon companion that feels more familiar, anthropomorphic always made decent sense to me, but gen 8 def took it too far.
