Me too! She really nailed it!

I asked Flora to pick which scene from the book she wanted to draw, and together we landed on this iconic moment: resting on a bench in the autumn sun with Levain cookies in Central Park - while Theo sketches what has caught his eye.

And when she sent me the final painting?

It left me BREATHLESS.

I have the most talented artist friends, I really do. So when you write a book about an artist, you have to comm them. I don’t make the rules. (And yes, there’s still more art reveals to come.)
