Bye autonomous bus
Just tried out the #autonomous #bus in Shenzhen, China!
There are a few fully autonomous bus routes in pilot (with safety drivers) in Qianhai, Nanshan
The ride was comfortable but slow
Also some human intervention, around construction and catching up with the schedule...
This also reminds of the South Island Line in Hong Kong or Jurong Region Line in Singapore (that I had much fun in the preliminary design as an engineer)
Not to mention the amazing views and beautiful stations!
#Skyline Honolulu - easily one of the best #transit in the US!
Driverless trains, open gangway, platform screen door
Now we actually treat AI/LLM as humans when research uses a logit model to analyze their views in a trolley problem-like stated preference survey ...

While there are many market players now, it's unfortunate to see one gone...
