Nitpicks aside though, this remake is still really well done. I plan on getting all the endings for it before I put it back in my library shelf just to see what changes they've made.

8/10 as a game, but 6/10 as a faithful remake. James deserves everything that happens to him still.

I 100% think its because of the seamless progression and 'over the shoulder' camera. I know RE4 made it popular and all (especially for horror games), but with the original camera work, it left a lot more to your imagination of what kind of dread could be coming your way. (Cont.)

Okay don't get me wrong, the atmosphere for the over and other world is top notch, and combat is far superior in the remake, but fear wise; I don't get any uneasy tension like I did when I played the original. (Cont.)

Finally got to play the demo for Forbidden Solitaire, Dungeons of Dusk, and Vampire Crawlers.

Out of the three, I feel Dungeons of Dusk feels the less addictive, but that's fine for me since it feels like the perfect kind of game to take a one hour break from work.

Their personalities would seem incongruous at first, but what they share in common is an avid appreciation of insects - more specifically, beetles. Who gave them their powers? Where the heck do the giant bugs come from? Who knows! Those are answers they'll eventually find as they navigate their school lives and fight big bugs - without hurting them too bad, of course! Bugs deserve kindness, too. i don't think I ever shared this here but during my final semester for my animation diploma, i gave myself a small character design project to work on alongside making material for my reel. here are the beetle girls! i'd like to return to working on this idea again soon ^_^
