It’s walkable from your accommodation and there also plenty of buses which go from the city centre up the Avenue where Southampton Common
You will be made very welcome! Southampton Common is pretty much in the city centre, easily walkable up the Avenue.

3 at the back just encourages needless passing and passing around in our own half inevitably going nowhere or almost conceding a goal. Was awful to watch yesterday especially the lack of urgency.
Needs binned although the question is who should be the pairing? I’d go with THB and NW.
They certainly do, especially managing the different funnels/lanes needed to accommodate everyone. I waited 30 mins for my ticket, not complaining though as the volunteers did a fantastic job getting everyone through.
