FEX on the Quest 3 is pretty sick. The surprisingly solid performance of Portal 2 bodes well for broader future compatibility and performance possibilities. Who knows, maybe by the time the Steam Frame is out the Quest 3 will also be a Steam Frame 🤡

There's a big difference between someone trying to sound smart and someone being precisely descriptive but if you don't have the attention span to focus on what's actually being said it probably sounds the same.

I can never understand the reverence for this series. The first movie is without a doubt awesome but 2 is pretty bad and 3 is borderline unwatchable. Haven't bothered with anything past that and I don't really have any interest to.

I mean, a Surface Pro 2017 these days is like a quarter the cost of a Framework 12 and a modern Surface Pro is in the same ballpark on price, around $800 for a minimum config fully functioning computer. Different markets and design philosophies obviously but the disparity in price isn't that crazy.

A thought occurs: instead of buying a Framework Laptop 12 what if I resurrect my X220t with a Fedora install? 👀 Almost certainly not enough compute power for all my mobile needs but it'd be fun and it'd cover me for like 95% of my mobile needs.

I've been lusting after a Framework Laptop 12 for a while now as a potential replacement for my Surface Pro 2017 but the reportedly subpar color accuracy and viewing angles on the screen are a total deal breaker. But if @frame.work were to produce a higher quality display option... 👀

Definitely gotta get back to comics as a replacement for free scrolling on here in little moments of killing time. Not sure why I got away from that. 🤔

New GPU came in, switched from PopOS to Bazzite

- Dual Sense worked ez, first try, no tweaks
- ALVR almost works with just launch options in Steam but I'm getting scrambled graphics😵‍💫
- G27 worked ez, first try, no tweaks
- Alan Wake 2 looks a whole lot better on a 9070 XT than it did on an RTX 3070

Pretty happy with this Daria from yesterday. Not perfect but still happy with it especially as a freehand painting with no sketch under it. Good use of my new Posca 'warm' palette.

Picked up Megabonk last night and played 4 runs before bed. It twisted my brain into having a fitful night of sleep.
