This is an idea. The City of Toronto and council @mayoroliviachow.ca should approve a bunch of 80+ story towers in Portlands, directly in the flight path of the airport and essentially force the Ford gov't to expropriate all of Portlands at extreme inflated prices if he wants his expansion.

Cross-posting isn't the same as being able to see and interact with all post on both sides and being able to migrate accounts from here to there and back without losing any connections or posts. Should have been there from day one.
Frankly, a Canadian hosted version of Bluesky, built on the AT Protocol with interoperability with here and Mastodon and a switch to filter for Canadian specific news and content is all we need. Another closed social network is doomed.
No. I sign up to the mailing list months ago and still don't have access. The fact that it is so slow to rollout, lacking of any transparency and incompatible with existing platforms and standards like Bluesky or Mastodon doesn't bode well.
