The opposition leader said after the vote failed: "By Christmas and the end of the year, we will bring the country back to normal as a [holiday] gift to the people."
Head of the South Korean conservative president’s party has just turned on the president, after holding the line yesterday. Eight lawmakers need to break with the party tomorrow for the impeachment vote to pass.
