Thrilled to see our iPhD and MRC DTP students engaging at this weekโs annual Faculty of Medicine Research Conference! It was a fantastic opportunity for them to expand their networks across the faculty and connect with interdisciplinary PhD peers.
Congratulations to Ella Proudly whose poster won both the Chairs and Audience Choice awards at Southampton imaging conference. The poster showed her PhD research imaging endometrial cilia and exploring their role in sub-fertility.
Today at the @mrcdtpbiomed.bsky.social we wrapped up our annual programme of summer placements for undergraduate students from underrepresented backgrounds. Some very cool experiments, from macrophages to exosomes to microglia and brain organoids! Increased #diversity in future PhDs is the hope!
