Watch me do it. We can make it go the way of clippy if we all try.
To put it another way, if you're drowning shouting for help is valid and a good idea. If you're on dry ground looking for the nearest life preserver and calling 999 is the better plan. We're the ones on dry ground and the ones who should be doing better.
I think in this case "don't go quietly while the government turns on you" is a perfectly well formulated and more than adequate idea in the circumstances where someone is trying to be listened to and get people on side and get them to help fix things.
Exactly the gif I used for this elsewhere.
So because #Ryanair in 2024 treated a passenger to a 13-hour delay and β¬890 in costs for a new flight, and then simply ghosted her, an Austrian court today impounded one of its airplanes at Linz airport. ooe.orf.at/stories/3345...
Also don't *ever* leave it to a minority to come up with the way to protect themselves from bad government. They're a minority and in a democracy we all need to stand up and fix things and not take second best.
Do you think suggesting someone is "just screaming to be screaming" is an appropriate way to talk to them when they're in a persecuted minority whose liberties and care are being stripped away to the point of people dying?
Cos I think it really isn't ok.
Honest lads, yer killing trans kids, working for the bosses, Privitising cities, you basically just done a genocide, almost killed hunger strikers and turned folks nans into terrorists. Let it die.
They stole it and killed it.
it's like poison now.
Move on.
Do new things.
The idea that opposing and rolling back trans rights is good for cis women and girls is ludicrous on every level and absolutely enraging when applied in legislation and policy that obviously limits and rolls backs rights for ALL women and girls
When will people get that this isn't about minor inconveniences like slightly higher taxes or fuel costs? For some people it's existential.
It's pretty disgusting that women are forced to publicly disclose being sexually assaulted or raped in order to be taken seriously by their peers.

I am, once again, doing something stupid that I suspect will push the audience's patience to breaking point. Do come along next month x

Ring doorbells are recharged using a green lantern according to Google AI
Even having seen this coming from a decade back and fighting tooth and nail against it every step of the way, I find myself utterly gobsmacked at just how BRAZENLY the British government is now moving to blanket OUTLAW and CRIMINALIZE the existence of trans kids. Utterly genocidal intent.
I generally assume that political parties know what their constituencies think better than the rest of us do: they spend so much money on polling and focus groups.
But I would be *amazed* if they understood how viscerally they are loathed by young progressives for pushing trans people under a bus.
Going to be totally real, I donβt even expect, were the greens to get into power, for it to be perfect etc etc or mistakes not to be made, but what astounds me is how melts just donβt understand that for many whatβs happening now means we are willing to give something new a try because maybe

Wow, so not battery related (at least directly)?

Iβm very sorry to any friends or family he had. Iβm frankly glad he got some kind of support towards the end.
This headline is a take. Literally. Thereβs no indication of how many more, or how many fewer people would have died without this facility. The fact itβs been open over a year with only one death to a very unhealthy and vulnerable group might say something.

Video screenshot from Reddit. Building is now a shell with flames visible in every window.
The roof has collapsed embers rise into the night sky.
The fire at Glasgow central station is utterly devastating. Shops, homes and our transport link to England are being wiped out.
I am amazed by the limited news coverage.
I'm not local, just love the area, so I'm probably not up to speed on everything.
Mmmm
And there was that fire a few years back on Sauciehall Street was it?
