One of the things I dislike about that whole format is that I could never contain my thoughts to just a few hundred characters, but I also don’t want to have to post my thoughts one paragraph at a time, without being able to go back and edit the order of the essay. Question about the whole Twitter/Bluesky format: when writing long threads that you have to break up into multiple posts, do you write it all out ahead of time in some other app? Or is it just stream of consciousness with no editing?

If you don’t use your real name here, it’s going to be hard for your friends to find you. And even if we do, we probably won’t remember it’s you so we’ll be less likely to pay attention to your posts. If you want to follow actual people you know, then consider using your real name.
I feel mislead by all dystopian literature. It's supposed to be a powerful authoritarian government that lords over a cowering population, and and we just need need a few brave acts of heroism to give the people the courage to rise up.
Instead it's just half the country being dumb and mean.
