Paedo rein, paedo rein...
Sorry, yes, I mistyped!
May I just say that Andrew Holloway is a proper national treasure. Living in the world but not of it. Steadfast in his faith, even through the mockery of those who crave worldly glory. Can't think why he starting following Thistle!
I thoroughly enjoyed both parts of the conversation with Tony, very interesting and insightful in many ways, thank you! One thing I missed if you said it, what or what team has he moved onto now he's no longer at Thistle?
If you consider writing your headlines in English I might consider reading the articles.
Well if you're going to get giddily over-optimistic early in the season you might as well go the entire 40,000 feet I suppose. :D
Ah right, that would make sense of the cosy, domestic scene portrayed, which struck me as rather lovely when it caught my eye recently, but also very little to do with the stage and performance! Thank you for the extra info!
Is that a stage school or something like that? I was admiring those very windows (it's got a counterpart on the other side of the entrance) earlier today before jumping on the train for Liverpool!
Great shot! One of my wife's ancestors Matthew Cullen is buried in a plot adjacent to the memorial. He was a Calton weaver and prominent local Chartist who composed the petition to Lord Palmerston asking for Baird and Hardie to be reinterred some years after their execution.
I know. I was also speaking light heartedly. Happy Sunday to you.
And arachnids with insects.
All my family was either playing in or marching with the coop band Paul. From that high angle pic, I think I looked up and gave you a wave! Did you spot the Proud Jags?
I use Fender Way daily as a driver and regularly as a cyclist and pedestrian. It may not be perfect but at least there is a viable route for all of us between Moreton and Bidston. The proposed modifications will help with the bottleneck at Reeds Lane junction.
How sad to hear, though not exactly a surprise. A good, long life, well led, we have lost a wealth of knowledge of all things Thistle, but Robert's generosity in sharing that knowledge will live on in many ways, and remain his greatest tribute.
Olรฉ!
Ha! Love it!
I wouldn't worry about it. I can remember Frank Lampard's Pa playing.
In the words of the great sage Celine Diane, "Before you roll those dice, Baby think twice..."
Fingers crossed!
It's a harsh lesson in existential angst. No, not even your favourite website is going to remember you.
Player of the Year: Ashcroft. Goal of the season: can't think off hand. Signing: Drysdale, nah, Ashcroft. Moment: Graham lifting Low into sky at Ayr. Worst take: We need someone with winning mentality as manager {simultaneously with} Brian Graham's ego is too big.
I was sad to hear Michael saying this on the commentary last night. Robert has been such a fixture over the years and a total gent to boot. Wishing him well.
:D They really should make their mind up right enough! We have a Low Hill in Liverpool.
Mugged.
Good grief, has the kit man got his boots with him? Best of luck to the walking wounded.
Another bridge for you @grant-w-henderson.bsky.social
Ref doesn't seem to believe in a quiet word.
Bill Stickers was innocent!
Some guy doing Bayesian Inference following me: what were the chances?
