2024 Lao Man's(rh) Raw Pu'er

This one has a more pronounced leaf flavour with a subdued fragrance. It definitely a tea that I'd drink to wake me up... But I can't say it's something I'd habitually drink.

Nonetheless! It is good and I'll probably order more to use as gifts for friends

2024 Yiwu Cold Water Valley Gushu Raw Pu'er

I really need to cut myself off. I've been drinking tea since 03:00. Anyways!

It's quite mellow, all things considered. Has a bit of sweetness and a bit of bitterness, but neither stand out from each other.

2010 Raw Pu'er

I honestly don't know much about this tea. I searched its name (普慶記) and it's product code online but came out with nothing.

Either way, it tastes really rich and complex, definitely a farcry from the ripe pu'er I had last night. To think I have two tuos of them...

2024 Yiwu High-Pole Gushu Red Tea

Cute form factor and delicious. While it has a honey-like flavour profile, it is not too sweet and thus exactly to my taste. The bitterness is also perfect.

2024 Mahei Raw Pu'er

A cute 7g portion of tea. It has a very pronounced Yiwu personality, that is quite fragrant, sweet, and complex. It is soft on the stomach as well since I drank it yesterday on an empty stomach.

Gedeng Ripe Pu'er

I'm not the biggest fan of ripe pu'er, mostly because I could also just drink Liu Bao, but this does taste quite good. A very pronounced camphor quality with a pleasant menthol-like mouth feel. The depth of flavour does not compare to real old pu'er, unfortunately.

Yunnan Silver Needle White Tea (2024 Spring)

This example—of which I have close to a kilogram of—is substantially easier to brew than other white teas in the same category. Of course, as a silver needle tea, a longer steep at a higher temperature is practically mandatory.

Little Dianhong drinking Dianhong

This... #tea review is too long for this app. I'll be short and just say the main notes.

It is cheap and has a good enough flavour and aroma to be well worth the price. It is nothing special, but you shouldn't expect something special at this price point.
