Anyone have any clue as to why images on bluesky are sometimes webp and other times jpegs? Art, photos, screenshots, doesn't matter, it seems like the file type is completely random

I called my 3 reps just now while folding laundry and only got one (1) actual person on the other end! If you are afraid of talking to someone, these are an excellent script, and there is a decent change you can just leave a message and not actually have to speak with anyone.

I know calling reps is very nerve racking. You're not sure what's the right thing to say, and tbh having a script thrown at me makes things just as nerve racking.

I called today, and I figured I'd write up a transcript of how my call went down. Hopefully it helps demystify the process

You need to call your reps and demand that they OPPOSE:

-the KIDS Act
-KOSA
-the Screen Act
-Sammy's Law
-the App Store Accountability Act

And additionally, oppose:

-reforming/sunsetting Section 230
-online age verification/ID laws

I've done a lot of lobbying and a lot of activism. It seems stupid, it seems pointless, it seems ineffectual, but phone calls are one of the few things that legislative offices really pay attention to as a barometer for public opinion.

Call early and call often.

Yesterday, the KIDS Act has Passed the E&C, and soon will be pushing into the house! This is a combination of KOSA, SCREEN Act, App Store Accountability Act, and other bills into one package.

Contact your Reps, and tell them to OPPOSE these bills! Stay strong, and fight for your rights and privacy!
