Model trains (late 70s-end of BR), real trains, real ale, Bromley FC season ticket, Norwich City exile, Hampshire CCC. Stamp collector. 80s soundtrack. Parkrunner. God that lot sounds boring but keeps me off the streets!

City are on a decent run. Amazing what a decent manager can do with players when they are fit to play. Saturday should be interesting, depends how much PC wants a cup runs As for Bromley amazing season. Massive game at Hayes Lane on Saturday, will take a draw.
As a commuter and enthusiast I enjoy watching people pile on to the carriages at the end of the train home when the whistle goes knowing full well itβs for the train on the next platform and that ours wonβt go until the other has cleared at least one signal section meaning I get a seat further down
The one thing that irked me was the number not being centred under the name when applied! But can reasonably assume it was due to standard placing of numbers. EWS/GBRF manage(d) it, in the main!
I will ask directly as I know Joe has been taking a backseat from socials recently.
@serailway.bsky.social it would really helpful when there is no cross platform access via the footbridge at Petts Wood that last minute platform changes donβt happen. Itβs almost a 10 minute walk round the block to get over.
And crocs
not taking more photos, although cost was an issue! Not getting into bashing/railtours earlier and missing stuff in the 90s Missed lines - woodhead but shut when I was 7; broad st; holborn. Lost notes from when young but have all from 1989. Must scan all the photos I have and sort the digital ones!
This you?

I must be getting old. I remember 43038 being named at the ten year mark! And again at the 40. Checking my birth certificate confirms I am indeed getting old!

No, too many other tests parents demand for their kids. Most common theme is that parents have munchausens.

Very enjoyable day. A few pints sampled at the Newcastle Tap before and after the game. It didnβt feel that cold - certainly not as cold as the parkrun near Rainham the day before!
Never thought Iβd get to see Bromley play here @ianhardie.bsky.social Great day out and a return via Leeds sampling some IETs.
Looks like 43002
