I'm sorry.
I couldn't resist.
And yes, that sound is people groaning and slapping their foreheads all over the world.

This whole thing but especially the part about content warnings. Itch has shown that content warnings can and will be used against the authors who provide them on product pages.
The "Insect" issue is out now, including my flash fiction, "Scarab"!

#Spiritual servants of power
Worshipers of the false one
Cut themselves and others off
From our true shared nature
As beings:
Of many forms
Of endless becoming
Of joyous communion
Signs of the many, endless, and joyous
Are outside and within us
Limned upon every breath and bone.

I truly felt this.
This is how I feel about Captain Planet's villains, considering... [gestures broadly to every news feed remotely involving the United States] but this seems even more on the nose, though admittedly I hadn't grown up watching it.
βIn the end, a Trug surveyor rescued me off that asteroid,β he concluded.
Dav the bartender looked at the cricket-like alien Trug the spacer shared beers with. βAnd this is him?β
βHer,β he said. βWe got married.β
Dav did a double-take.

Someone posted a video of a husband and wife shopping for interior decor. They wrote: "when will people finally acknowledge the epidemic of men marrying women and being turned gay." Matt Walsh retweeted them and added: "Dudes like this were already gay. Iβve been married for 14 years and have never been home decor shopping, or even had an opinion on the subject, except for the one time when I had a painting custom made depicting me meeting a group of space aliens. Itβs now hanging above a fireplace in our home." I screenshot Walsh's comment and added: "For a while, it was believed that women and gay men are born with a natural sense for aesthetics. In reality, straight men, particularly American male Protestants, have simply barred themselves from taking an interest in aesthetics bc they think this makes them noble." Finally, someone retweeted me and added: "Why does anyone listen to what this idiot has to say about aesthetics?" They attached a photo of Edward Hopper's 1942 painting "Nighthawks."
Someone took issue with me saying that American male Protestants are unique in how they've removed themselves from aesthetics. I thought it was obvs that I'm talking about fashion and interior decor, which today are coded as "gay interests," not paintings or architecture.
But let me elaborate. π§΅
water left in a glass overnight tastes bad because it gets haunted
Both is good. Like Roland Emmerich choosing both alien designs Patrick Tatoupolos came up with for Independence Day, I want "K-pop" that goes inside, curled up, and hooks up to a "Tank" like the ID4 biomechanical suits
"When you gotta destroy the megacorp tower at 5 but then party at the club at 8"
A tweet from Matt Walsh reads: "Dudes like this were already gay. Itβs now hanging above a fireplace in our home." He is reacting to a video, where a man and a woman are shopping for home decor. The original poster writes: "when will people finally acknowledge the epidemic of men marrying women and being turned gay"
