*addendum that we will be doing one character meal per my request. So we’ll have that one over three days. I’m looking for thoughts on if that’s all I should book/be concerned with, or if I should attempt reservations on the other days too.
People with small children (ages 2-7): is it worth it to try to do sit down dining during your Disney vacations or should I just plan on random quick service as the kids get hungry and we are near chicken nuggets?

I cannot yet fully confirm, but I’m just feeling pretty dang sure now that my Disneyland trip will have 0 parades/processionals. And I’m bummed for me, but also I’m taking my niblings and I’m like stupidly sad at the thought of their experience being fully devoid of parade 😭

You make a normal ADR and then when you get there you get to ask if you can pay the upcharge to do the dining package. Which has limited availability! So just a first come first served / dibs situation. Instead of just letting you actually book the dining package specifically online. 🙃

Been spending my holiday time trip planning and subsequently getting my hopes up of being able to do the Napa Rose Chef’s Counter for our anniversary. But also I’m deeply unwilling to stay up until 3 a.m. to call 😅 welp here’s hoping it somehow works out anyway!

Yes, this! Also lots of complaints about the “episode breaks” in the movie being obvious. And I guess not no, but I could cut up most action adventure movies (incl. Moana) into “episodes”. They’re kind of all small obstacle and triumph until we get to the climax. So. Yeah. It follows that formula 😅
I didn’t listen to any songs before I saw the movie. And “Beyond” and its reprise are honestly phenomenal. I know it’s subjective, but I just don’t understand the hate for it.
I love a good 2 minute distraction I can do between tasks or during meetings I shouldn’t even be required to attend 😅 (also, doesn’t require cell service, so a great airplane activity haha)
