An official letter from the Kansas Division of Vehicles dated February 23, 2026, with a redacted recipient address. The letter notifies the recipient that due to the enactment of Senate Bill 244, all Kansas driver's licenses and IDs must reflect the holder's sex at birth. It states that the recipient's current credential will become invalid immediately upon the law's publication on February 26, 2026, with no grace period. The recipient is directed to surrender their current ID to receive a new one matching their sex assigned at birth. The document concludes with instructions on how to appeal the notice if received in error, along with contact information for the department.
Kansas is sending letters to trans people telling them that their licenses will be revoked as of tomorrow and that they risk arrest for driving on a suspended license.
This is pure cruelty.

Seems like this should be a bigger story And congrats to the US Mens gold medal winning hockey team for being window dressing to cover up the crimes of a pederast. How proud you must be. www.nytimes.com/2026/02/25/u...
USA's Olympic gold medal winning women's hockey team has declined President Donald Trump's White House invitation.
Earlier Trump mocked the women's team on a call with USA's men's team.

Mills recognized that as the power elite becomes increasingly degenerate, it is increasingly difficult for their intellectual acolytes to formulate reasonable ideological justifications for their corrupt and irresponsible actions. In these circumstances, the power elite resorts to intellectual repression against those who call attention to their declining political capacities; that is, the intelligentsia who work in universities, museums, the arts, scientific institutes, entertainment, and the mass media.
Sociologist C. Wright Mills saw this comingβand tried to warn usβ60+ years ago.

Lol ok.
By the middle of this century, there could be fewer than 20 countries with the right conditions and infrastructure to host the Winter Games, according to a 2024 study.
Hereβs what the future could look like for 93 possible Olympic host locations:
The Montreal Canadiens are playing the Minnesota Wild in Minneapolis tonight. The players have been recommended to stay in/eat at the hotel, take the team bus to the arena, and carry passports.
Perhaps we shouldn't be hosting the World Cup and the Olympics...

A headline reads: "How the National Park Service Is Deleting American History." An individual in a brown puffer coat stands with their back to the camera, taping notes onto a board on a brick wall. Each note says "learn all history." Photo by Rachel Wisniewski for The New York Times.
