I guess we’ll just have to see what happens. Police regularly violate civil rights so if you’re hoping that won’t happen I feel like that ship has kinda sailed at this point.
The cops won’t enforce laws they don’t want to enforce. The people that would force them to enforce those laws are those cops who are refusing. That’s the problem. It’s essentially a big gang that politicians don’t really have control over.
Well, police are generally on the same side as ICE, they view ICE as legitimate police doing legitimate police work, they actually don’t typically have legal authority to interfere with federal agents generally, nor do they want to,and they as a union typically have tension with politicians
Oh I meant more the cops than the governors. Whos your governor though?

18 Dems just voted *today* for Trump’s agenda. Does it make sense yet why they’re so unpopular?
I'd seen the first segment of this before, but the part about the Holocaust documentary is new to me. Not surprising but still astounding.
seems bad
I would bet money they won’t do it
I’m not implying you did imply that it isn’t
Who is going to arrest them
It’s good to make news headlines about this regardless
This has been clear since Melissa Hortman was murdered and the media shrugged it off because she was a Democrat
They’re calling it Operation Epic Fail, the strategic killing of children and Americans in order to destroy the truce we had garnered with Iran after decades of careful diplomatic work and distract from the Epstein Files and the succession of the Epstein Pedo Cabal under its new leader Jared Kushner
They knew what they were doing
everything was hunky-dory until 1953. that’s when shit truly went sideways, after Mossadegh broke the eleventh commandment — Thou Shalt Not Fuck With Big Oil — by nationalizing Iran’s oil industry. our CIA and Britain’s MI6 got themselves worked into a Big Mad over this, and engineered a coup that overthrew Mossadegh and turned Iran back into a monarchy, restoring Reza Pahlavi as the Shah. the thing about the Shah of Iran is that he was a repressive piece of shit who was hated by his people, and his fuckery led to the Iranian Revolution of 1979 — and that’s how Iran went from being a repressive monarchy to being a repressive theocracy. meet the new boss, yadda yadda. that’s why we’re in this mess right now — because we couldn’t leave well enough alone 73 years ago.
did you know Iran used to be a western-style democracy, with an elected prime minister? but then one day in 1953, the CIA ousted him in a coup, and restored the repressive and corrupt Shah to power — that's REALLY how this mess all got started. you can read all about it in my post: bit.ly/4lfWn7c

Sure yeah but a lot of democrats are also owned by billionaires or are generally capitalists, and they don’t really push too much voter suppression or voter apathy, although it could be argued that their milquetoast political vision is an intentional attempt to create voter apathy.
For the same $6 trillion cost, you could crush child poverty with a child allowance and free childcare, fix unemployment insurance, do paid family, sick & medical leave, massively boost ACA subsidies, and eliminate child uninsurance with Medicare for Kids.

Yeah all of these are like things you see on a company website

Voter suppression and voter apathy are tools developed and deployed successfully by Republican politicians.
You don’t appeal to this type of voter by tacking to the middle. You combine left and right positions as appropriate. Someone who loves Israel might also want universal basic income for instance. Neither of these is a moderate policy position and that voter doesn’t want a moderate policy on those.
The kinds of voters that get called moderate aren’t actually moderate, they’re a mix of harder left and right policy proposals with a smattering of random gossip about this or that candidate.
MODERATE VOTERS HAVE NEVER EXISTED! WE HAVE YEARS OF DATA ON THIS
