Wow - I had no idea. The corrupt cops part is the entire here story in Massachusetts so I’m surprised they leave it out on the evening news.

The systemic bias protecting cops is one of the biggest issues in the U.S. Karen Read had a fighting chance, but imagine those without her wealth, whiteness, and public support. Most people never get the chance to tell their story. They end up jailed and silenced. This injustice must be stopped.

As a Boston resident, I can tell you that someone in Wisconsin knows very little about our Commonwealth and its history of collusion with corrupt cops.

if you’ve watched all 33 days (as have I) then you’ll know that John didn’t have a ^single^ bruise and ^not one^ medical expert testified that he was hit by a car. You’ll also know that he was interacting with his phone ^after^ the alleged collision. There is more than enough reasonable doubt.

She backed into him at 20 mph…yet he doesn’t have a single bruise and no medical expert testified that he died by being hit by a car. Oh, and he was interacting with his phone 20 minutes after the supposed collision. And we’re the idiots?

Not a single expert stated that these wounds were inconsistent with a dog bite. There is no evidence that John was hit by a car and no expert testified that he was. Yet that’s the Commonwealth’s case. This trial is an embarrassment. #freekarenread
