Stoat (holding marten's paws pleadingly): C-can I go with you?
Marten (gently putting paws on stoat's shoulders): I'm sorry, but no. This is a road I must walk alone. You continue your quest.
Stoat (desperate): But... will I ever see you again?
Marten (turning to leave): The road is long and winding, yet I feel in my weary heart that our paths shall cross once more.
(marten walking into distance, singing)
