I came home and watched BLUE MOON on my couch with my movie theater popcorn bucket instead. My dog fell asleep on me and my arm fell asleep.
Not the same thing, but still good.

It’s so bad, but highly entertaining and fun in ways you just can’t fake. Whenever I watch those Moore movies, I just lament our inability to enjoy things.
Like culture posts on this app simply don’t get the engagement and I think it’s because people feel it’s frivolous and actually it’s the thing we are fighting for, the freedom to make culture and cultural works
It’s weird because I can’t stop thinking about the parallel universe versions of his movies starring Belushi. Every. Single. Time.
This movie could use some John Belushi. And Anthony Geary as Dr. Jekyll. Now that’s a movie.

Even so, I anticipated something more than teenage fanfiction. And then the bizarro choices aren’t ever really going in the same direction. It almost has the soul of a ZAZ parody of mass market paperback romance novels.
