2.5 hour drive (with blue lights in an ambo booting it). I am within 20-30 mins drive of 4 hospitals in Birmingham. Rural Ireland is woefully neglected and restricted. In an emergency it would take an ambo at least an hour to get to my home. Look after the NHS lads.
The NHS has its issues. However, compared to the health service in Ireland, it's superior. Yesterday my dad was blue lighted from one hospital to another (he's ok). It's a 1 hour drive from my home house to our nearest hospital. From that hospital to the specialist centre was another....1/
